Sometimes, the best love stories are the ones we never see coming.

Our story began with a friendship through a mutual friend. Over the years, life brought us back into each other’s lives more than once, but we always remained just friends, never imagining that one day we would become so much more. Looking back, we love the idea of the invisible string theory— that no matter where life takes us, the people meant for us will always find their way back to us. Maybe that little invisible string was there all along, quietly bringing us closer until the timing was finally right.

After reconnecting, the idea of us being together became a little running joke. After months of laughing about the possibility, we finally decided to take a chance on each other, and we’re so glad we did. What began as a friendship turned into a love we never knew we were missing. We found not only our partner, but our best friend, our safe place, and the person we want beside us through every chapter of life.

It’s so special to look back and realize that life gave us more than one chance to find each other before we finally saw each other in a different light. What once felt like a funny little what if became the beginning of our forever, and we wouldn’t change a single thing about how we got here.

We feel so lucky that our paths crossed when they did, and even luckier that we get to spend the rest of our lives choosing each other. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
